This may sound like a silly question I am looking in to a after market ECU and was wondering if I would have to retain any of my standard ECU at all or could this all be chopped out

sorry and yes how much of the loom can I remove and does the standard ECU need to remain in place for things like the alarm and such or can that e chopped out

engine loom?
with after market management you should get a whole new engine loom for eveything the ecu needs
