Right I don't really know how to diagnose this but here goes..

Driving along casually (30 in 4th) if I take my foot of the throttle then put it back on, whether it be straight down or gently, the car judders, as if the throttle body is sticking shut a bit..

Any ideas?

Same happened to me, throttle cable was too slack. Try adjusting it tighter to see if it helps.

grab the throttle body and give it a little throttle when cars off, you'll feel it sticking if it is, most probabyly find that its the cable being to slack

interesting...i have the same problem

if i put foot down in any gear its very flat/sometimes juddery...my oxy sensor needs replacing i know, but sometimes pulling off at lights it gurgles and revs poorly and backfires...like its getting too much fuel...it clears past 2k revs and is then ok

made it a lot better by using 95octane fuel...99octane makes it worse...oxy sensor going on shortly to see if that helps...but due to moving the throttle cable, could be interference/too slack as mentioned above...

going to go through it all and make sure its tip top...

DirtyDetail - sensor would cause that.

Jakey - Only thing i can think is make sure the cable is free to move, and make sure its adjusted right.

If you've had the inlet put on then id imagine its just the cable needs adjusting. I had the throttle stick completely open once, turned out it was the spring on the throttlebody itself was seized. stuck some grease on it n jobs a goodun
