Need some help.
Am i right in thinking a power box is just a box that bolts straight onto the lower inlet manifold and TB's are 4 Tb's bolted onto the Lower inlet.
Is there alot in performance difference?

yep power box just bolts onto the lower inlet manifold and it needs some wiring re run and coolant pipes need sorting.
TB's will give you the most gains but will need after market managment and will cost a fair few hundered to get a decent one

My understanding of it is that it's a seperate system from the ECU that controls the air/ fuel ratio.

best thing you can do is find a reputable rolling road near you, and see what they suggest as they will favour one particular type of ecu.
its like my mates who i use stock DTA, but can happily map mbe, omex, emerald, megasquirt etc etc
