looking at some wheels that are 15s and the offset its et38 , my car is lowered 60mm all round ,
what will the rubbing be like?

Yep I would say so, I would find some witha better offset tbh.

i used to have et38 15s lowered about 60 and with the arches flared and trimmed slightly it was fine

et 49 is the propper off set

yeh i got a set of tigra wheels on atm and they sit perfect, just fancied a change,
can i not use spacers?

et38 sticks out further than normal. spacers will push it even further out.

you can use et38 with slight arch work.

it depends what sort of tyres you've got had sum oz wheels that had a et38 and they only rubbed on the side that had budget tyres on, get a stretch if the wheels are wide enough

it will scrub

they could be machined down but people dont reccomend maching more than 5mm off

Mines down 60mm and I've got 15x7 et35's with 195/45 tyres. The fronts don't rub at all, and all I needed to do at the back was take the plastic trim off, whack the arches out as far as they'd go with a hammer and stick the trim back on. You might want to saw the bit off the plastic trim that tucks under the arch as well. They don't scrub at all even with a full car now.

i'm down 60 with et 38 15's dude. I have no problems but thats due to stretched tyres, could get away with a very slight stretch and would be all good. Won't know till you try, that's why i'm goin for et 20 rear's et 28 front's should be fun lol.

depends on the width of the wheels your wanting to put on. and are they the kind of wheels to warrant stretched tyres?

165/50 tyres then or with a 45profile if you can get some.
