My cars failed its MOT on emissions,
Its a 1.1 mk2 fiesta, its carbs not injection.
results are
CO: 4.730 and the limit is 3.500
HC: 502 and the limit was 1200
Any help would be great.

i would suggest...
1. dizzy cap
2. rotor arm
3. leads
4. redex
just to start

new cat usually if co levels are high, but obviously try the cheap ones first  handy if you know someone who can run a quick emissions test for you

No cat mate. Ive got some carb cleaner and im gona turn down the fuel mixture a bit for the test.
