the temperature works and the other switch but the speed control dont work so the van is freezing because its not giving off any heat at all its, but sometimes comes on.....

what could this be the motor at fault? or loose connection?
also are these on a cable switch like the corsa b?

Sounds like the same problem the Mk3's had.

Try changing the heater control switch.Probably be under the scuttle panel somewhere.
