put a smoothed boot lid on recently.. just wired up the boot release/solenoid and when pressed it pops but catches on the latch.. as if u closed to lightly if that makes sense?
is there an easy way around this or will i need to cut a piece out the lock to stop it catchin?

you have to cut the latch off mate, make sure you cut the right one or the boot won't stay closed anymore

any pictures of one thats been cut so i know what bit to chop off ?
