I know this is a corsa forum but might get some help..

fitted a new set of coilivers to a golf and the Passanger side nut ontop of strut keeps coming loose for some strange reason.. Tightened it down today, pulled about an inch of thread up and just popped bonnet and the strut is nearly hitting the bonnet with the strut cup not even near where it should be...

Any help of advice much appreciated

is it a nylon threaded nut ???? have you tryed alittle lock tight ???
