Morning guys/gals. I have changed the water pump/ timing kit but it seems to be wining a bit, i think it is due to it being a bit to tight still. I looked in the Haynes and it shows a piccy of how the water pump should be lined up 'showing a mark in the pic' but can i find that in the housing? NO! I dont want to keep taking it off and adjusting it and putting it back as thats not really going to do it any favours.

Any help would be great.

Did you change the tensioners aswell?

I did indeed. It's a 95 corsa 1.4 16v by the way.

Hmmm, sure its not the alternator bearings making a whinning noise?

No it wasn't. Got it sorted in the end
