hello people!
ive been building a redtop for my nova but its still just a tall block its the early one, now ive been oferd a late redtop that has a fooked bottom end but comes with everything to make it run, i was thinking can i use an early bottom end and have a late head on it?
i realise the round and square tooth difference but will get around that by swapping cam pullys
i also realise the timing belts are differnt but will just use a early one as it will be the same by the time the cams pullys are swapped.

im wondering is this possibe? has anyone done it before? and also which headgasket to use? are they both the same the early and late ones?

really need a help so if any one can much appreciated
joe

All gaskets are the same, just the belt and ignition set up are different.
