Havent had a chance to look at the manual but a quick google and corsa c threads seem to say the manual states 5w30 but then on the next page lists off a load of oils, 10w40, 15w40 etc
Anyone know for sure what Vauxhall reccomend? Engine has a timing chain aswell iirc? I know what vauxhall timing chains are like with oil so want to get it right

Yeah, the modern Vaux Engines run 5w 30.

For the later ones I'd stick to 5w 30. I use 10W 40 one everything earlier.
The key thing with timing chains is to keep the oil detergent properties good - so new oil and filter every 5k and use a genuine Vx filter. Some aftermarket ones break up and stray bits of filter have caused plenty of blocked oil feeds to timing chains.

Vaux 5w30, £18 for litre
I get 5 litres of Mobil 1 5w30 for under £50 usually for the ibiza
