Hi after some advise on an engine swap I'm going from a 1.2 8v to a 1.6 8v hopefully what do I need, I can keep the drive shafts and hubs as there small block?

why not go for 1.6 16v?
when i was doin my 1.0 to 1.416v i needed engine dont needgear box , you would get better accelerationbut top end would be shit and do no good so gear box ecu key barrel transponder, and dont quote me on it but i needed a new interior wiring loom and you deffo need engine wiring loom hope thi helps ya bud

Everything is the same, straight in and straight out, the only difference is the wiring loom + ecu, depending on which 1.6 8v you have ? you may need the transponder ring,key chip and ecu. The E16SE/C16SE didnt have transponders.
Gearbox is the same - F13/F15
8v Mounts the same
Gear linkage the same
Charging loom the same
Exhaust will match up if you use the standard manifold ( 2 pot type )
