Hi everyone,
I'm busy theorycrafting a project, and the resulting boost would be approx. 2,5 bars (36 psi). If I eventually build this thing, I know I'm gonna blow something
I searched the Mahle site, but found only OEM pistons, so does anybody know where I could find reinforced pistons?
And since the engine has to be stripped anyway, a source for a reinforced crankshaft?
Or do they have to be specially made?
TIA for any feedback!

I would use the 1.7 td engine rather then the 1.5. My guessi your need custom pistons made up.

Crank will be fine.
Tbh I think your pistons will be too.
There was a guy running them sort of boost figures on an internally standard diesel lump. When you open it up all the parts make c20xe rods etc look wussy.
