just picked up my 6th or 7th corsa (kinda lost count) and its amazing except for the fact that when the engines under load at about 3k rpm the eml comes on an engine seems to hesitate but will go off if I let off the throttle and press it again...
thought it could have been the lambda so changed that to no avail so thinking it has something to do with the throttle body/ inlet side of things, throttle pedal is pretty damn solid and seems to only go half way which doesn't seem right either but could just be because im use to driving a legendary jap car and a newish clio which is fly by wire so just kinda mimicking old school style

Check the throttle body isn't clogged up with crap, also what engine is it?

Does the EML stay on if you turn engine off and back on again?
And does it start up fine in a morning/ when you have left it at work?

W reg 1.2 16v and starts/ runs fine wouldn't know there was a problem if the eml didn't come on, would just assume its down to the lack of power, eml only on whilst engine under load and goes back off if I drop a gear or go downhill.
