hey guys i took the knobs off to spray them. The middle one was a bit of a battle but did come off. However now when i put it back i cant seem to get the blower to work i dont know what ive done any help would be appericated.

How exactly did you remove it, did you put something in the hole in the bottom to release the clip?

ha ha, its knacked then.
there r wires attcached to back of them knobs if they rnt connected rite or snapped they wont work the blowers.

take the centre console out-bit of a mare to be honest

Just take it out, u should be able to see how the wires fit back on, if they've come off

Theres no wires behind the actual knob, these are on the back of the heated rear window switch and I doubt you would have disturbed them.
The shaft for the centre knob is round, not D shaped like the outer two, if you forced it off and snapped the retaining clip, the knob might just be spinning on the shaft without gripping it.
Pull the knob off and try turning the spindle on its own, does the fan operate then?

Sounds like you snapped the shaft. Theres two types of switch and one won't fit the other. A new one is about £20 from a dealer.

i stuck a screw driver in the panel and the fan worked so its not broken its just this knob

Then you've snapped it off. I did have one in my garage but some bastards cleared me out last weekend and took nearly all my stuff, I'll have a look to see if I can find one.
