My piston rings are shot on cylinders 1 and 2 and my compression is shit.
Not had the engine open yet, just a dry amd wet compression test.
Thinking of rebore to 2.1 whilst it is stripped.
Anyone who has doen it know a rough price for the parts and labour involved?

I would rebore it to 2050cc then you have room to get it sorted if it breaks again.

what pistons you want? could cost you £500 just for them +£100 for boring/honing.
if a stock ish engine, just go for a set 86.5mm mahles
