when turning the key the fuel pump dosnt power up.. tried the fuel relay but still dosnt work if i put a live to the wire to the pump it powers up... just not when i turn the key?
any ideas?

it runs when i connect live to pump, but trys to cut out then saves itself.. just keeps doing that

im trying a new loom fed up of following wirers, if you put a live feef to relay pump come on, tried the relay, so goin to try loom as ita abit of a mess anyway.. then ill go from there

the pump doesnt prime until you crank the engine. it wont prime with ignition.

yer but fuel rail isnt pressuring up, plus used a tester at the fuse box, and theres no feed

fuel pump should prime for a second or two when turning ignition on, hence the word 'prime'

usually the pump will prime the fuel rail when you turn the ignition on? sure it does

im sure if you let the pressure out of your rail then if u put ignition on and go back to it it will have pressure there again, i may be wrong but im sure thats rite lol

99% sure xe's and let's dont prime pump with ignition. unless its wired up wrong. i am sure from factory they only work on cranking, no prime.
