this is a fucked up situation cos according to her she pulled off at a green light, and a car from another angle went thru a red light n scrapped her but she was stationary but thought nuffin of it, unfortunatly for her the owner of this car just so happens to be a lawyer...both bloody women.
whats the best way my ex can go to get out of this?

Find a good lawyer? Talk to a solicitor and get some legal advice.
Or talk to the other woman that was involved and try and sort it out, out of court.

did the other car look as if it stopped to take details? if it didnt then forget about it. both parties will shell out for their own damages on their own cars.

Sorry hun but i still think they will say that she reported it in the first place. But, it may all be sorted out anyway.
Just tell ya missus to tell the truth and try and remember everything as accuratly as she can, and if she wasn't at fault then im sure things will be fine.

I once hit a caravan that was being towed, it litterally fell to pieces in the road. The guy towing it didn't know I had hit it and carried on. I stopped as near the spot as was safely possible but he was nowhere to be seen.
I thought no more of it and just drove home.
About 4 months later, I had a visit from the plod, I was being charged with failing to stop at an accident, failing to report an accident, driving without due care and attention. It seems the caravan guys mate was following him and saw it all, he got my plate but gave the wrong make model and colour of the car, thats why it took a while to find me.
Anyway, I gave the copper my side of the story and waited to see what was going to happen. I had a letter from the police a few weeks later saying no further action was being taken.
