Hello
This is my first post on the forum.
I was just wondering, are there any legal requirements when modding the seats in a car? Do they have to be able to handle a certain amount of impact force or anything? I'm going to try and make the driver seat a bit more...."comfortable".

as long as they are safe and secure then you will be fine.
how do you plan on making it more comfortable?

this may sound stupid but i'm basically going to take off all the padding stuff there is not (probably needs to be cut off) and replace it with comfortable cushions. The seats are crap for long journeys, and I can't really afford new expensive seats at the moment.
