As above really. Both Kirsty and myself have got increased mileage on our hands after the summer hols, so are looking into the idea of a dirt cheap runaround to just take the milage.

Came up with the idea of a veggie oil powered machineee... I can get 60 litres a week of used stuff for free from works cafe OR buy 20 litres for £16 on a trade card. Seems to make sence.

Would be looking into using a filter with the used stuff and investing in a small heater for the fuel lines if so, but what is the best small car to run on the stuff.

Not interested in 306 size, im after Corsa, Polo, Lupo, 106 size'd, under 1.6 if possible becuase of the tax rules.

Ideas on a postcard please

Citroen AX diesel, cheap as Ste L's aftershave and 70 MPG. Not a bloody clue what brand of pump it has though? Sure you could get the answer off a google/eBay search.

A quick google search suggests that the AX diesel does have a Bosch pump.

So can this run on neat veggie oil or does it need to be put in as 50/50.

I'm reading up that you can buy conversion kits.....i take it this isnt needed for the Corsa 1.5td.......
