Ok so my situation is that i have a small air leak coming from my dip stick tube. If i run the engine for around 5 mins and pull the dip stick out i get a good "ooosh" sound and if i leave the dip stick out, i get a continuous air leak similar to an exhaust, just a much smaller scale! I've had the engine running on tick over for over 15mins or so and the pressure is not great enough to push the actualy dip stick out
I've done abit of background reading and from what i've gathered it may be due to the PCV valve, but im unsure if my engine has one. Its a c16xe by the way. So either my blow-by gasses aren't circulating properly, or my piston rings are shot, but the engine has just been rebuilt, so chances of the piston rings been shot must be highly unlikely...as they are brand new?
Anyone got any ideas? Would be appreciated!
Thanks
