Seems there is no reverse on my corsa after trying to reset the gear linkage many times everytime it ends up reverse is first lol 
Its only had its engine fitted by an idiot mechanic (A cheap idiot mechanic)
Could he have done anything wrong with the linkage to make it like this?
And if anyone could tell me how far the silver joint should be pulled out for it to be in reverse? (Pic Below)

Well if it was working before he fitted the engine, its obviously his fault...I would get him to fix it tbh.

hi mate if you get a 6m m drill bit take the gator off around the gearstick slide the drill bit down the side of the gear stick and it should line up with a hole in the bottom of the plastic then on top off the gear box theres a selector pin fiddle with the linkage until it clicks that will put the gearbox in neutrul then do the 13mm nut up under neath the car should b sorted then hope that makes sence cheers
